Metro Transit

Metro Transit has partnered with the 2015 National Senior Games presented by Humana, which takes place July 3-16, 2015.

With one of the best public transportation systems in the country for its size, Metro Transit is a great transportation option for those who travel to Bloomington, Minneapolis and St. Paul and provides an extensive network of buses, light rail and commuter trains. In addition to the METRO Blue Line light-rail connecting Minneapolis and Bloomington (opened in 2004), it added the METRO Green line light-rail link between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul in mid-2014 and continues to add enhanced transit ways throughout the region.
