NSGA CEO Marc T. Riker (left) and Shellie Pfohl present a Personal Best Award to 94 year old Kentucky athlete Howard Hall on the track after his Silver Medal performance.

NSGA is proud to be an official Advocate for The President’s Challenge programs offered by The President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN).

Executive Director Shellie Pfohl came to the 2013 National Senior Games Presented by Humana in Cleveland to admire competition activity and to express her support for the Senior Games Movement at our Personal Best presentation. To close the program, NSGA CEO Marc T. Riker signed the President's Challenge Advocate Letter of Agreement pledging to spread the word about these programs as part of the NSGA mission to promote health and wellness to all adults 50+ through education, fitness and sports.

The President’s Challenge has motivated millions to get fit, to feel better about themselves, and to lead active lifestyles.  Young or old, it’s about choosing to live healthier while doing things you really like to do...like participating in senior sports!
