The new NSGA Registration System is ready for the
2009 Summer National Senior Games Registration!

Only results from:
CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, IA, IN, KS, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NH, NY, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, WA, WV, WI and WY
have been loaded, so only those athletes may register.
Once more states send in their completed results, they will be posted. Registration materials will also be mailed out in the coming months to all qualified athletes.

National Senior Games Association      

The NSGA is...
  • A non-profit member of the United States Olympic Committee dedicated to motivating senior men and women to lead a healthy lifestyle through the senior games movement.

  • The organization that governs the Summer National Senior Games, the largest multi-sport event in the world for seniors, and other national senior athletic events.

  • An umbrella for member state organizations across the United States that host State Senior Games or Senior Olympics. The NSGA supports and sanctions these member state organizations so that adults can participate in their state in events year-round that will keep them motivated to achieve greater value and quality in their lives by staying healthy, active and fit.

  • A national association that works with state and federal agencies, colleges and universities to better understand and support healthy aging initiatives for seniors.

  • An organization that partners with national leaders committed to senior health, wellness and quality of life.

  • Committed to providing information to support education and research initiatives enabling senior athletes and others to be better informed about ways to ensure healthy aging.


  • Summer National Senior Games
    The 2009 Summer National Senior Games will be held August 1-15 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

    Competition will take place in Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Bowling, Cycling, Golf, Horseshoes, Race Walk, Racquetball, Road Race, Shuffleboard, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, Triathlon, and Volleyball. For a compete list of all events please scroll to page 3 of the '2009 Summer National Senior Games Rule Book' posted on the 'Summer National Senior Games' page. To compete in the 2009 National Games you must be 50 years old during the qualifying year (2008).

    The 2011 Summer National Senior Games will be held in Houston, Texas.
    The 2013 Summer National Senior Games will be held in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Olympic Values Education Program      

    Enroll and Complete the Olympic Values Education Program at No Cost
    (Compliments of the International Olympic Committee and the U.S. Sports Academy)

    The Olympic Values Education Program (OVEP) course is a resource for teachers and youth group leaders, equipping them with information and learning activities for creating lesson plans on the educational values of Olympism. Teachers of students ages 8 to 18 are encouraged to explore the free online course and share its ideas with their students.
